About the Item

This Murano art glass vase is unsigned, but was most likely done by Angelo Barovier of Italy in circa 1969 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The vase is a cased white over turquoise glass with ripples around the rim and a cascading controlled bubbles with aventurine in cased clear glass down the ribs of the sides. This is a fairly large and substantial example of midcentury Murano art glass standing almost a foot in height and over six inches in width.
