About the Item

A pair of early 1900s Art Nouveau vases by Goldscheider & Liezen, hand-painted in terracotta with lush natural motifs and foliage. This exquisite pair reflects the elegance of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and rich Hiddish artistic influence. Each amphora-shaped vase is delicately encircled by hand-modeled fruits and leaves — evoking nature in full bloom, a hallmark of the Goldscheider legacy. The flowing forms and botanical elements were designed not only to decorate but also to uplift, symbolizing growth, vitality, and refined taste. Marked "Wien Goldscheider Liezen", with additional production marks "7601" and "1". An ideal acquisition for collectors of Viennese ceramics and Art Nouveau decor. Take into account that the colors on the items may vary depending on the type of lighting and the type of screen from which you see the images.
