About the Item

A large Paris porcelain vase of good quality, almost two feet in height. The body with painted figural and landscape vignettes on opposing sides, contained by acid-etched gilt borders of palmettes & banding. The painted scenes divided by moulded handles in the form of Rams' heads, each with intricate cast forms in the high Neo-classical manner. The vase in standard form, mounted atop the square platform base with stepped foot-rim. Each gilt side with similar acid-etchings of trophys & rose garlands.
