Søholm Vase, model 2405, 1970s. Elegant cylindrical stoneware vase featuring the characteristic hare’s-fur glaze in soft beige and cream tones. The matte, subtly textured surface and slender form are typical of Søholm’s 1970s production. Origin: Denmark. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 23 cm, D. 10 cm. Period: 1970s. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Søholm Keramik (1835–1996), based on the island of Bornholm, was one of Denmark’s most important ceramic workshops, renowned for its experimental glazes and strong craft tradition. During the 1960s and 70s, Søholm developed a range of decorative series with nuanced matte surfaces and clean forms, making these stoneware objects highly sought after by today’s collectors.
