A powerful and highly textural studio pottery vase, designed by Ivo De Santis for the renowned workshop "Gli Etruschi" in the late 1950s. This piece is a quintessential example of the Italian Brutalist ceramic movement, which drew deep inspiration from the ancient, raw aesthetics of pre-Roman civilizations. The vase is characterized by its robust, cylindrical form and a distinctive, earthy glaze. The surface is a masterclass in tactile contrast, featuring deep incised lines at the base and bold, diagonal "brushstrokes" of dark manganese and ochre slip.
