About the Item

The tiara, a significant cultural artifact, was stolen from a museum in the occupied territory, taking with it a piece of Ukrainian history. In response to this loss, Victoria Yakusha created the TIARA Vases, designed to preserve and honor the essence of the tiara’s form. Each vase reflects the intricate details of this ancient artifact, reinterpreting its design in a contemporary medium while maintaining a profound connection to its historical roots. Limited collection, only 12 pieces SKARB [ukrainian for treasure] I turned to the theme of treasure for a reason. A treasure is something that can be stolen but cannot be taken away. A treasure is something that lives in the heart of everyone who remembers themselves. A treasure is about something very dear to you, something that will always be yours, something that cannot be appropriated. MATERIAL: The vase is made of the fireclay covered with engobe on the outside and glazed inside, encrusted with 1 topaze (63.55 carats). Handicraft production. Tiara don`t naturally hold water. Only for indoor use. The dimensions and weight of ceramic vases may differ due to their handmade nature.
