About the Item

Vase in the shape of a bird in red earth from Vallauris, enamels in muted tones and patterns evoking oriental decorative ceramics. Graduated of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Reims, Jean-Claude Malarmey joined his classmate Robert Perot in 1954 at Vallauris to work for a time in his studio " Le Vieux Moulin" before creating his own workshop in 1957. The last photo brings together this amazing vase and a large bottle vase by Robert Perot which we also offer on 1stdibs. We can provide additional photos upon simple request.
