About the Item

A scandinavian modern bowl in the Sotka pattern from Arabia, Finland. The bowl was designed by Raija Uosikkinen (1923-2004), Uosikkinen worked as a designer at Arabia from 1947 to 1986. The hand-painted bowl was in production from 1968 to 1972. The bowl measures approximately 7 1/4 inches in diameter and is 3 1/4 inches tall. The bowl has the Arabia mark on the bottom.

    Wear consistent with age and use. The bowl is in good vintage condition. It appears to never have been used, no chips, cracks or discolorations. There is a slight blue mark on the inside bottom of the bowl, which was done at the factory.
