About the Item

I offer for sale an extremely decorative and fun element to set your table. Made in Italy by the company between the 70s and 80s, this jar with lid is part of a successful series that included many tableware items in the shape of fruit and vegetables. This series, which recalls the Portuguese production of Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics, was produced by the "Italica ARS", a company founded in the 1920s in the province of Florence and no longer active today. This jar with lid equipped with a teaspoon is all made of handcrafted majolica and can be used as a sugar bowl, as a gravy boat or as a jam holder. The bright green, yellow and brown glazes and its green tomato shape make it irresistible.
