Superb Jan Van Der Vaart geometric abstract ceramic vase, 1993, Netherlands. Ceramic with beautiful patinated bronze effect color. Signed V D Vaart 93 and with the wheel mark, so this vase were made in his own atelier and is not a later Makkum production ! Van der Vaart can be considered as one of the most important Dutch ceramic artists of the 20th century. The bronze colored ceramics are the most representative in the work of Van der Vaart.
