About the Item

A rare small Daum Tulips low bowl - vase -Polychrome enamelled and cameo cut back depicting parrot tulips blooms and leaves against a green and orange background cased internally in opaque white. This is a very unusual shape and size bowl/ vase shape vase for Daum (and a very collected collected shape), The Tulips image is quite rare and one of the more desirable of Daum's many designs it is also quite rare to have the internal white casing making the other colours 'pop;') . It is signed faintly to the base in slightly worn gold Like Galle, Daum is based in Nancy where most of the finest French Art Nouveau glass was made -unlike most other companies they still exist today.
