About the Item

This unique Murano glass rosary is handcrafted in Venice and features traditional Wedding Cake glass beads. Each bead is individually decorated with gold leaf, delicate pink roses, blue and red details, and fine white glass lines over a deep black background. The long strand is completed with a gold-tone religious centerpiece depicting the Virgin Mary and a large handmade black Murano glass cross with gold details. A small Murano Glass tag confirms its Venetian origin. The rosary measures approximately 76 cm in length, with an additional 25 cm drop from the central medallion to the end of the cross. Its generous proportions are typical of a long decorative rosary and allow it to be worn as a statement piece or displayed as a collectible object. Because the glass beads and cross are handmade, small variations are part of their individual character. A distinctive one-of-a-kind piece combining traditional Venetian glassmaking with religious jewelry design.
