About the Item

A century ago, someone held this carved wooden scoop in their hand everyday as they measured out rice or other grains. Hewn from a single block of wood, the scoop has a rustic, chiseled texture and a timeworn patina. Tools like this were used until they broke and had to be discarded, so finding one in such good condition makes it a rare collectors item.
