Hallmarked in London in 1972 by John Charles Peter Alan this distinctive Elizabeth II sterling silver water jug is of a tall, angular form executed in the Modernist style. The jug features a flat base, a sharp V-shaped spout, and is fitted with a geometric, heat-resistant handle and a removable lid with a pyramidal finial. It measures 8"(20.5cm) tall by 4.5"(11.5cm) from handle to spout and 3.75"(9.5cm) deep, and weighs 16.5 troy ounces.
