A supremely elegant Saint-Louis crystal carafe, or water pitcher, from the 'Bubbles' collection, and dating from around 1985. This hand-crafted jug features the hallmark dotty 'bubble' engravings on the body of the jug, as well as the stack of crystal 'marbles' forming the stem. A prominent and well- proportioned handle and finely shaped spout complete the design. One of the most celebrated manufacturers of crystal glass in the world, Saint-Louis has been producing high-quality crystal since 1586 in the Saint-Louis-les- Bitche region of Moselle, in north-eastern France.
