Hallmarked in London in 1792 by James Young, this elegant George III antique sterling silver tray is of an oval form featuring a plain, polished centre embellished with a fine engraved coat of arms. The tray is finished with a formal reeded border to the rim and is fitted with a pair of graceful, sweeping reeded handles with leaf-capped terminals. This fine piece measures 20”(51cm) wide by 12”(30.5cm) deep and weighs 43 troy ounces.
