About the Item

A large 19th century French cheese board from the Normandy region of France, circa 1870s. Having a timeworn patina that happens only after decades of use, this antique cheese board with raised edges was used by a cheese maker as he worked the cheese and then drained the whey into a bucket sitting below. This wonderful French board is perfect for use as a cutting board or charcuterie board and will add a touch of Country French charm to any kitchen.
