Antique French Paris porcelain cabinet cup and saucer with figural griffin handle The cup is divided in three section by two rows of embossed pearls. In the middle section four burnished gold lozenge on a red reserve trimmed with laurel leafs and lines, In each lozenge a trophee ( books, arrows, instruments) in tooled and burnished gold In the upper and lower sections and interior of the cup burnished gold The saucer by two rows of embossed pearls divided in three sections In the middle section six tooled burnished gold lozenge on a red reserve In the center of the saucer three concentric circles Period: Empire Directoire 18th century Origin France Condition: good, minor gold fading, wear commensurate with age Height Cup 2.9in - 7.5cm Width 3.6in - 9.3cm Saucer diameter 5.5in - 14cm Height 1.1in - 2.8cm
