About the Item

Six unusual rounded square porcelain plates, impressed mark for B&D Carlsbad, Bohemian, mid-19th century. With a wide border, striking hand painted floral decoration in deep burgundy on a yellow background. Further enhanced with horizontal lines in gilt center decoration. Each plate measures 9"-inches x 9"-inches. In good condition, on a couple of plates the gilt center decoration is partially worn.
