About the Item

Classic pair of Georgian sterling silver master salts with a graceful oval form and standing on plain oval spread foot. Each salt has a pair of reeded loop handles. The tops of the salts and the foot are embellished with a Classic bead pattern and each have a crest engraved on the side of the body with a fleur-de-lis over the motto: Virtute et Labore (The Power of Labor). There are five marks, in order they are; E, the sterling standard mark, the leopard head London mark, one mark not distinguishable and a monarch head duty mark. See measurements below.
