A fine and impressive antique Swedish silver coffee jug in the Arts & Crafts style; an addition to our diverse silver teaware collection. This fine antique Swedish silver coffee jug has a plain octagonal panelled waisted form onto an octagonal collet style foot, all in the Arts & Crafts style. The surface of the silver coffee jug has an impressive subtle planished finish. This fine coffee jug is fitted with the original hinged domed panelled hallmarked cover with an impressive integrated bud and foliate finial. This fine example of antique teaware retains the original impressive carved wood handle incorporating a shaped thumbpiece and is fitted to a plain octagonal panelled socket. This Swedish silver coffee jug is further embellished with a shaped drop ornamentation to the nadir of the spout. The hallmarks to the underside of this impressive coffee jug include: Makers mark: G.A.B (Guldsmedsaktiebolaget) Silver quality/purity mark: Three Crowns National mark (Swedish, .830, 830/1000) Town mark: Crowned Head (Stockholm) Date mark: R7 (1919) Condition This antique coffee pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The interior of the coffee jug has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the coffee pot and rim of the cover are all very clear. A fine and impressive, large antique cut-glass and Austro-Hungarian silver mounted lemonade/water jug; an addition to our wine and drink related collection. This exceptional antique Austro-Hungarian silver and cut glass water / lemonade silver jug has a tapering cylindrical form. The neck is fitted with a fine and impressive substantial silver hallmarked mount with the original hallmarked flat hinged cover and plain swept lobed thumb piece. The cover is further embellished with the impressive contemporary engraved initials 'SC' below a coronet. This antique cut glass lemonade jug is fitted with a plain angular S scroll handle with bracketed curved terminals. The large glass body of the jug is ornamented with a dimpled effect in addition to a star cut motif to the underside of the base. The hallmarks struck to the surface of the impressive mount include: Importer/Retailer's mark: Bachruch (Antal Bachruch) Assay mark: P (Pest, Hungary) Silver quality/purity mark: Dianakopf mark (.800, 800/1000) Condition The mount of this antique lemonade jug is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The glass is in perfect condition. The engraved decoration is all very crisp. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the mount are all very clear.
