Six Cup Holder by Katia Solórzano Dimensions: W 10 x D 10 x H 1.6 cm Materials: Solid purple rose wood with mineral oil finishing. SONORA TABLEWARE A set of five objects with a design inspired by the state that bears its name. This work highlights the importance of collecting the necessary elements to make the ritual of food a pleasant and memorable space, where stories, traditions, and unique flavors are shared. Considering the need to preserve traditional values and integrate them with the desire for contemporary life, the resulting design is a return to the essential and to everything that gives us identity beyond the accessory. The discreet nods to the Sonoran landscapes enhance the food without diverting attention from what is important: sharing food in harmony and joyful gathering. Nature is the essential reference of this collection that abstracts the desert landscapes characteristic of the region, such as its sunsets, beaches, dunes, and fauna. Balancing aesthetics and functionality, the “Sonora Sonora” plate has a storage assembly function, designed to make the moments that understand storing and storing the object more efficient.
