About the Item

French silverplate cocktail shaker, circa 1940s. Classic tapered Art Deco form with ribbed lower body and stepped shoulder. Marked to underside “OFRE,” model 11, and “8 GR” indicating silver plating weight. The shaker features its original integrated citrus reamer and strainer insert within the lid, allowing fresh citrus to be juiced directly into the shaker — a practical and desirable feature found in mid-century French café barware. Heavy, well-made construction with good weight and balance. Clean interior. Light surface wear consistent with age and use. Presents well.
