About the Item

This large antique and ornately decorated silver plated serving tray was made by the well known Wallace silversmiths of England in approximately 1910 in the period Edwardian style. The tray is very elaborately decorated around the outside edges and handles with a grape and vine motif, with intricate pierced decoration on the sides. The surface of the tray is engraved with a swirled floral motif and the tray is clearly signed on the bottom with the Wallace maker's marks and model number.
