About the Item

This pair of antique silver plated footed bowls or tazzas were made by the well known Barker-Ellis of England in approximately 1920 in a Victorian style. The bowls are done in silver plate over copper with scalloped edges with applied stylized floral decoration which is accented around the bottom. The bowls stand on a trumpet shaped scalloped base and both are clearly hallmarked with a clover leaf hallmark for Barker-Ellis.
