A fine and characterful Georgian English coconut cup, mounted in silver and dating to the late 18th to early 19th century. The bowl is formed from a natural coconut shell, richly carved with geometric and foliate motifs, including starburst and lozenge patterns that create a striking textured surface.
The cup is elegantly mounted with a silver rim and raised on a circular silver foot, giving it both stability and refinement. A twisted silver swing handle is attached at either side, enhancing both its practicality and decorative appeal.
