An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique Georgian Scottish provincial sterling silver Fiddle pattern soup ladle; an addition to our early 19th century silverware collection. This exceptional and large Scottish provincial sterling silver ladle has been crafted in the Fiddle pattern. The anterior surface of the handle is plain and unembellished. The reverse of this impressive example of antique silverware features a rounded heel to the plain oval bowl. This exceptional ladle is a large example for its type. This Scottish provincial silver ladle combines functional utility with regional silversmithing heritage, reflecting the distinctive craftsmanship associated with provincial Scottish workshops.
