An exceptional, fine and impressive antique English sterling silver gilt beaker made by Paul Storr; an addition to our continental silverware collection. This exceptional antique English sterling silver gilt beaker has a plain bell shaped form. The body of the beaker is embellished with exceptional flat engraved opposing scrolling leaf and floral decoration. The decoration to the body incorporates the contemporary engraved initials 'MAM' surmounted with a coronet. The base of this exceptional example of antique silverware retains the silversmith's centre punch mark. This antique silver beaker retains the original gilding. This exceptional beaker, crafted by the very collectable and important London silversmith Paul Storr, is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This fine antique 19th century beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and is in exceptional condition. The flat engraved decoration and engraved initials are very crisp. The full British hallmarks struck to the surface of the beaker are all very clear.
