An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique Victorian Scottish sterling silver wax jack; an addition of our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian Scottish sterling silver wax jack has a circular shaped form. The wax jack has a plain central column surmounted with a tapering capital comprised of a cast sterling silver sprung hinged wick trimmer, accented with an inset circular taper holder to the centre of the blades. This scissor component is embellished with cast scrolling leaf designs. The lower portion of the wax jack features a circular base accented with engraved scrolling leaf decoration. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George IV English cast sterling silver vinaigrette; an addition to our diverse collectable silverware collection. This exceptional antique George IV cast sterling silver vinaigrette is realistically modelled in the form of a cornucopia. The cast silver horn-shaped cornucopia container is encompassed with bands of ribbed decoration, accented with a spiralling terminal. The rim of the horn is further embellished with a cast leaf decorated border. The upper portion of the horn is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover embellished with an embossed and chased floral bouquet design. The cover opens to reveal the original hinged grille and gilt interior. The gilded grille is ornamented with a bright cut engraved and pierced decorated scrolling leaf design. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver sugar caster has a baluster shaped form onto a circular stepped spreading domed foot. The lower portion of this sugar caster is embellished with embossed convex batwing decoration in a swirl design. This large, silver caster retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, embellished with impressive pierced scroll, floral and leaf designs below further embossed batwing decoration to the upper portion.
