An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare antique William IV English sterling silver King's pattern ice cream server; an addition to our 19th century silverware collection. This exceptional and rare antique William IV sterling silver ice cream server has been crafted in the King's Pattern. The anterior and posterior surfaces of the handle of each piece is embellished with the classic King's pattern ornamentation, including the shell design to the terminal, in addition to the central honeysuckle design; this honeysuckle device is the distinguishing feature of the pattern. This fine example of William IV flatware has a plain plateaued bowl with an impressive shell decorated heel to the reverse. By virtue of its size and shape, this rare and versatile server could be used for a multitude of functions. This rare Kings Pattern silver ice cream server makes a distinguished gift for weddings, anniversaries, milestone occasions or collectors of fine silver. Uniting graceful design with superb craftsmanship, it is both a functional piece and a lasting heirloom. Condition This antique sterling silver ice cream server is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The King's Pattern is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle stem are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
