Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1935 by Roberts & Dore, this elegant George V sterling silver cup is of a tapering form standing on a stepped circular foot. The piece is notably decorated with a distinctive Art Deco style "skyline" border to the rim and is fitted with a pair of substantial, geometric cast handles. It measures 8.25”(21cm) tall by 9.75”(25cm) wide and 5.25”(13.5cm) deep, and weighs 18 troy ounces.
