A Silver and Wedgewood Torah Pointer by Daniel Blumberg, Pennsylvania 1959

Located in New York, NY

A Unique Silver and Wedgewood Jasperware Torah Pointer made by Daniel Blumberg in Pennsylvania in 1959. Most Torah pointers are usually made with a single constant metal. While there are some exceptions where two materials are mixed to make a unique item, this is the first time we have seen a Torah pointer made with Silver and inlaid Wedgewood Jasperware. The handle is adorned with inlaid white flowers and flowing acanthus leaves on the upper handle. Decorated with a gilded ring embellished with pearl-colored stones as the handle tapers smoothly down to the shaped vintage sleeve...
