This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver sugar caster has an octagonal panelled baluster shaped form onto an octagonal spreading domed foot. The surface of the caster is plain and unembellished. The rim of this impressive sugar caster is encompassed with an applied moulded border. This sterling silver sugar caster retains the original, fine and impressive hallmarked push fit cover, embellished with impressive pierced scrolling decoration in addition to an applied moulded border to the rim. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver sugar caster has a baluster shaped form onto a circular stepped spreading domed foot. The lower portion of this sugar caster is embellished with embossed convex batwing decoration in a swirl design. This large, silver caster retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, embellished with impressive pierced scroll, floral and leaf designs below further embossed batwing decoration to the upper portion. This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver sugar caster has a baluster form onto a circular domed spreading foot. The upper and lower portions of this piece are embellished with embossed and chased bead and scroll decoration accenting concave bordered, fluted decoration all in a spiral design. The sugar caster retains the original hallmarked screw fit cover, embellished with pierced decoration incorporating chased and embossed bead and scroll decoration, the screw fit attachment indicates the fine quality of this piece. The cover is further ornamented with a gadroon decorated border to the rim and is surmounted by a fine and impressive scroll decorated shaped baluster style finial.
