A boxed sterling silver Apostle spoon by C.J. Vander, the renowned English silversmiths, hallmarked in London in 1972. The spoon has a large rounded bowl, a long stem and a cast figural Apostle terminal in the traditional manner. It is presented in a fitted blue case with an accompanying card describing the history of Apostle spoons. A handsome boxed collector's spoon by a respected maker. Hallmarks & Details - Maker: C.J. Vander Assay Office: London Date: 1972 Metal: Sterling Silver Weight: 63 grams Dimensions - Length: 19 cm Bowl width: 5.2 cm Condition : Light surface wear consistent with age.
