A beautiful set of five Limoges France hand-painted porcelain decorative plates, each with a softly scalloped edge and naturalistic fruit decoration. The plates feature a warm painterly palette of greens, yellows, reds, and deep berry tones, with hand-painted clusters of grapes, cherries, berries, leaves, and soft botanical accents over a pale porcelain ground. Each plate varies slightly in composition, giving the group the charm of individually decorated porcelain while remaining visually cohesive as a set. The softly shaded backgrounds, fruit motifs, and scalloped rims give these plates a romantic French table presence, somewhere between decorative cabinet plates and light serving plates.
