An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver two piece condiment set in the Stuart Devlin style; part of our ornamental dining silverware This vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver condiment set consists of a pepper pot and a salt with the original spoon. The salt and pepper pot have a rounded cylindrical form, with a tapering upper portion to the pepper. The sterling silver upper portion of each piece is plain and unembellished. The lower portion of the salt and hallmarked push fit cover of the pepper pot is encompassed with a cast and applied shaped band of silver gilt textured decoration; this ornamentation reflects the iconic style of the renowned London silversmith Stuart Devlin. The salt retains the original removable blue glass liner. The original salt spoon featured further silver gilt textured ornamentation to the tapering handle terminal.
