About the Item

Tea service consisting of two cups with corresponding saucers. The service dates from the very early 20th century, material Meissen porcelain painted with floral and plant motifs, German manufacture Meissen mark in the back as shown in photo. Meissen Porcelain or also "Dresden Porcelain" was one of the earliest European examples of porcelain production, in terms of type and technical production methods, developed from 1708 by Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus and his helper Johann Friedrich Böttger. Excellent state of preservation. Along with the two cups with saucers is an additional cup, belonging to the original set, without its corresponding saucer.
