A wonderful, highly engaging, intricately hand woven antique Native North American Indian Navajo tribe wool rug/blanket featuring a geometric X-pattern (the Navajo tribe is famed for their geometric designs) and beautiful deep, rich coloring - red, black, beige, and grey. The rug is in fantastic vintage condition. Likely made in the mid 1900s but could be older. A special work. Would be a fantastic addition to any indigenous southwestern Native American folk art or artifacts collection or make for a mesmerizing eye catching stand-alone accent piece in about any setting. Approximate dimensions: 36"" high x 60" wide.
