Large original oil on canvas painting of an interior scene with a hunter presenting his kill. Notice how light pouring in from the windows highlights the faces of individuals within. Signed J./L. Faehnlein 1900.
8.5' wide by just under 7' tall.
Condition: Craquelure throughout, minor peelings. Retouches. In need of surface cleaning which we leave to discretion of buyer.
Crackling, distress and paint loss to frame. Separation at corners.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from this very large framed canvas from 1900.
