About the Item

A wall-mounted console table made of dark walnut, with features reminiscent of the Charles X or Louis Philippe styles (first half of the 19th century). Curved front legs, with brass feet and plates, featuring decorative curls on the front legs. Front panel with a small decorative element in the center of the drawer. Arched lower crossbar, typical of many 19th-century French and Italian pieces of furniture. The carved decorations are rather understated, reflecting a piece of furniture that is elegant but not overly ornate. The wood's patina appears uniform, but the photo does not make it possible to tell whether the finish is original or restored.
