About the Item

Vintage commercial business sign from early 1950's for All - Stainless, Inc. 78" long by 12" high panel of patinated blue colored aluminum with 1/4" thick die cut letters in natural colored aluminum screwed to the plate. I've not been able to identify the name of the fonts but it is handsome period typeface. All Stainless Inc. was located at 75 Research Road in Hingham, MA 02043.

Absolutely incredible advertising sign for an Italian garage, blacksmith made in forged and ornate wrought Iron. This sign was removed from a garage in Turin, Italy where it had hung since 1920, advertising the variety of services the garage carried out, as well as Pirelli tyres. The sign is wonderfully weather beaten, with losses to the paint and sections of the advertising text.
