Boucherie Chevaline Trade Sign A hand crafted Boucherie Chevaline, zinc gold leaf hand beaten butchers trade sign. A highly decorative wall hanging in untouched condition with original iron hanging hooks. Size in inches approx.: H 19” x W 15” x D 16” Period: 1900 – 1920 Material: Zinc Origin: France Completely solid in structure and form, worn surface, loss of painted to the support neck section and face, Natural Verdigris and age discolouring to the surface as shown in the photos. Light splits to the nose, ear and edged detail as shown however it is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece. Therefore, we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections / condition is unclear to avoid disappointment when purchasing.
