This piece advertises Standard Varnish, a line of wood varnishes and stains formerly manufactured on Staten Island. It features an illustrated graphic depicting a woodworker posing with multiple cans of the eponymous product with lettering and branding flocking the figure on all sides. This central graphic is bordered by a faux wood grain pattern.
