14.9 Chandelier lamp by Bocci. Dimensions: D 22.4 x W 120 x H 300 cm Materials: Brushed nickel, cast glass, blown borosilicate glass, braided metal coaxial cable, electrical components, white powder-coated canopy. Also sold individually and in different sizes. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. 14.9 is a low-voltage linear configuration of 9 articulated, cast glass spheres with cylindrical voids, each housing either a 10-watt xenon or 1.5-watt LED lamp. This low-voltage pendant is designed to be composed of atmospheric configurations. Each individual pendant is an articulated, cast glass sphere with a frosted cylindrical void that houses either a 10-watt xenon or 1.5-watt LED lamp. Height could be adjustable up to 350 cm. Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Founded in 2005 under the creative directorship of Omer Arbel, Bocci is committed to fostering a lateral and open-ended relationship between creative direction and craft. The company launched with one lighting design, ‘14’, which became an instant classic and remains a design staple and bestseller. Bocci’s growing portfolio of sculptural lighting is developed, engineered, and fabricated in-house, through an infrastructure calibrated to provide full control over technique, quality, and scale. In 2015, Bocci transformed a historic Berlin building into a showroom and archive. ‘Bocci 79’ inhabited a 2,200 m² / 23,600 sq ft former courthouse, constructed in 1896, and showcased over a decade of works by Omer Arbel, ranging from pieces in progress, prototypes, and ideas, to the complete range of catalog pieces developed for Bocci. Bocci 79 closed in June 2020 and we are currently working on our new, permanent Berlin showroom which will open soon.
