About the Item

Dramatic and elegant, this superb hanging lamp has a simple silhouette marked by a narrow base, elegantly tapering out into a conical shape culminating in a wide rim. Handmade of paper clay, this piece boasts horizontal and vertical ridges, their distinctive texture achieved by adding paper pulp and natural fibers to the clay mixture. The ridges and the irregular rim of the lamp contrasts with the gold finish along the inside of the lamp, creating a visually striking final product. Showcased in a dining room or foyer, this lamp is a timeless statement piece.
