About the Item

Empire style chandeliers tend to be quite hefty and large, This bronze example is unusually delicate. The dished circular pan is hung from three flat pierced suspension chains, and supports three clusters of three lights with shaped arms, candle sockets and drip pans. It retains its original canopy and pendant. This size and style is not easy to find in this quality. It is French and from the end of the 19th century. It would work well in a hall or perhaps above a round table.
