Extremely rare and minimalistic Bauhaus / Art Deco pendant lamp or hanging light. Manufactured by Dr. Twerdy Leuchten, 1920s, Germany. Makers mark to the top: Dr. Twerdy Original. Executed in nickel-plated brass and opaline glass, the lamp needs 1 x E27 / E26 Edison screw fit bulb. It is rewired, works both with 110 / 230 volt. Dimensions: Dm 9.85 in. (25 cm) in. x H 14.18 in. (36 cm) Adjustable hanging height (from to the bottom) 49.22 in. (125 cm) Good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. No damage to the glass shade.
