Kobis & Lorence Chandelier

Attributed to Kobis Lorence and clearly influenced by Gino Sarfatti and Pierre Guariche, this pendant chandelier features a central brass ball base, four brass arms that are adjustable and protrude through the ball and terminate in parchment double cone diabolo shades.

Mid-Century French chandelier, circa 1957. Red and black enameled cast aluminium 'nucleus' orb with five curved arms radiating like protons and electrons spinning around an atom. Multi-color abstract googie designs on satin glass shades which articulate on brass swivel joints. Original hemisphere canopy. Takes five 60 watt candelabra size bulbs. Rewired. If requested we could change the colors of the enamel. In the style of Kobis et Lorence.
