Michel Mortier M4 suspension lamp in red for Disderot. Originally designed in 1952, this sculptural pendant is a newly produced numbered edition with a certificate of authenticity. Made in France by Disderot with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Each piece includes a certificate of authenticity from Disderot. Designed in the shape of a hot air balloon, this ceiling light represents part of the mid-century lighting design revolution. It is one of the few suspension lights in the world to offer all three lighting modes in a single source: focused light, upward ceiling light for a soft ambient effect, and discrete light to gently illuminate the faces of guests. Its beautiful proportions, adjustable height, and updated range of colors enhance its contemporary design. Executed in lacquered metal and aluminum in a choice of 5 colors. This listing is for the M4 in red. Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities. Professionally wired for US electrical. Accommodates 1x max 100W equivalent standard medium base LED bulb.
