About the Item

These are pretty awesome! First time for us finding this brand of industrial lighting, Italsmea of Milan Italy. Mid 20th Century, these are designed to be explosion proof and used in mines and oil rigs. Very thick glass with originally painted cast aluminium bodies which we have polished. The shades are thinner spun aluminium - you can decide if you want them or not. They look very different without the shade but equally awesome. Re-wired with copper bulb holders and supplied with black braided flex, chain and ceiling hooks. A few dings to the shades. With shade the diameter is 41cm and without the shade it is 24cm.
